A: Good question. Valuepoly is an excellent choice for those individuals who want all the benefits of a great polyester underfloor product but at a more affordable price. When budget is a priority Value Poly is the best choice.
Q: What is the difference between Value Poly and Polymax?
A: They are similar products. They have the same R value and are made from the same base materials.
Polymax is made from 45% recycled plastic bottles and has a nominal loft of 140mm (there are some variations). We recommend that you open the packs a day or two prior to installation to allow it to re-loft as the insulation has been compressed for transport (NOT vacuum packed). Polymax is available is most States - Victoria, NSW, ACT, SA and WA.
Value Poly is made from 80% recycled plastic bottles. Value Poly may have a small amount of compression (it has NOT been vacuum packed) and may be slightly less than full loft (120mm) when first removed from the bag.Value Poly is available in Victoria only. If you are living outside of Victoria and wish to order Value Poly, please contact the team for a discussion about freight alternatives.
The length and width of underfloor insulation rolls depends upon the manufacturer - so check the Specs Tab carefully.

Q: What is the product warranty for Value Poly?
A: Value Poly carries a product warranty of 50 years, but can be highly effective for much longer than that. We have not yet seen a 'failed' polyester product. It is incredibly robust and is not damaged by the elements that would generally damage other types of insulation, such as water, termites or breakdown of the glues that hold glass fibres together.
Q: What is the installation warranty for Value Poly?
A: As Value Poly is a DIY product there is no warranty on installation.
To get the best value for your investment, please, PLEASE watch the installation videos before you proceed.
If you have any questions, contact the ecoMaster team. We are all ex-installers and have done this work thousands of times before. We are here to help you.
Q: What do I do if I have a problem with this product?
A: Refer to our Returns / Refunds page [Learn More]. Our Research and Development team will be keenly interested to learn of any product failure and will want images and samples of the product (if possible) so they can determine what the cause of failure was.

Value Poly | Polyester Underfloor Insulation
Hi William,
Thank you for sharing your 5 star rating with us and the community - much appreciated!
I recently installed the R3 130mm loft value poly under floor insulation. Super easy to install as I stapled it from the top with my handy new air staple gun. This product was a dream to work with as compared to other insulation I have installed in the past that was itchy, nasty and required full ppa kit to just open the bag. This stuff was so soft and fluffy and lovely to work with, my mates puppy used as his doggy bed! Added to all of that is the feel good fact of taking a few thousand plastic bottles out of the environment and I am sold. I’ll be looking for more of this when I get to insulate the roof in a few months!
Dear Andrew,
Thank you for taking the time to leave such a beautiful review for our Value Poly Underfloor Insulation! We are delighted to hear that you found it easy to install and that your furry friend Buddy approves of it as well! You have no idea how much we LOVE hearing feedback like this! We take pride in creating a product that is not only effective, but also environmentally friendly. We can't wait to assist you with insulating your roof in the future.
We placed the order on a Friday and at checkout it stated the product was in stock. I Called to advise we would be able to collect on the following Thursday being that this was one of the collection days. Was told the order wouldn’t be ready. Ended up paying $400 for delivery as the suggested collection date from eco master didn’t work.
Thanks for the review Andrew. On the day of your order, we were holding sufficient stock. However, an unprecedented number of orders came in as it was the last business day before the end of the financial year. Many people were taking advantage of the EOFY special. A number of orders, including yours, came in after the close of business. The stock that we had on hand on Friday was insufficient to satisfy all of the orders that arrived after close of business.
Short term stock outs sometimes occur in mid-winter as everyone is cold and wants their insulation immediately. Based on the increased demand across the whole industry, insulation that normally takes 2 or 3 days to manufacture is now taking between 1 and 3 weeks. The very cold winter, plus increased demand and delays in manufacture is what led to the delay of your order. We have updated our website to reflect the variable nature in mid winter lead times for underfloor insulation. Production lead times can be advised by one of our staff prior to ordering by calling us on 1300 326 627.
Living in a weatherboard house with timber floors. We have had the polyester underfloor insulation installed and maybe my expectations were too high. Walk around your house in bare feet- ahh no. Maybe we just don't run our heater as often and for as long as other people. On the positive- the house is quieter and when we do have the heater on the heat is more uniform and the heater is run at a lower temperature and for not as long. Let's see how it works in summer.
