We are proud to introduce our very own ecoMaster branded “Value Poly Wall Insulation” After extensive research and consultation with our manufacturing partners, ecoMaster is proud to introduce not only an insulation that works incredibly well but that is also good value for money. Bringing you the best of both worlds. High performance, without a high performance price tag.

This polyester insulation is high performance, low allergenic, moisture and rodent resistant. Not only does it have all these benefits but it also comes with a 50 year manufacturer warranty.

This effectively means that you can rest easy knowing that you’ve achieved some of the best results possible for Australian walls. Ensuring a comfortable home whilst being secure in the knowledge that the insulation installed isn’t going anywhere. Either in the hands of rodents or through the natural effect that is the collapse of certain glass fiber based insulations.

By installing wall insulation you know that you have an effective handle on your home's thermal performance. Ensuring more consistent temperatures and lower energy bills for the life of your home.

Unfortunately, you normally only get one chance at installing insulation in your walls. Do it once. Do it right. Do it with Value Poly. Ensure a lasting benefit at a reasonable price.

Having a comfortable home shouldn’t cost a fortune.

Frequently Asked Questions:

Q: Is it hard to install/ Can I retrofit it into my current home?
A: Retrofitting wall insulation is a big job. There are two standard methods normally used.

1) Blow in insulation. This comes in a variety of materials (the majority being glass fibre based). To install wall insulation in this manner is definitely not a DIY job as it requires specialist machinery in order to pump it in. This does have it’s benefits though, namely that this is the easiest way to get insulation into your walls once that house has been built (baring major renovations). However, blow in insulation has been known to “settle” over time meaning that while the bottom of your wall is well insulated the top of the wall may very well be another story.

2) Installing Batts. This is best done before the plaster board goes onto your walls. Given the permanency of this particular step of the building process it may be a worthwhile endeavor to make the investment in the insulation whilst you can.

There are 2 kinds of batts normally installed in walls: Fibreglass (glass fibre) and Polyester. Each has their own pros and cons. The glass fibre batts can be more dense than polyester batts. However, over time they can collapse in on themselves (an observable phenomenon in most ceilings over 15 years old) and rodents love glass fibre batts. This means that there is a good chance that not an insignificant portion of the insulation in your walls can go walk about to serve as nesting material for various rodents (notably rats).

Polyester has the benefit of holding it’s loft for the full 50 years that the warranty covers it for (and normally a longer period of time). However, it isn’t perfect. The listed loft of the batts (their R value) is normally less than an equivalent thickness fibreglass batt. Polyester batts are also normally slightly more expensive than the fibreglass alternative.
