Q: What is a Raven Sweep Seal?
A: There are several Raven sweep seals that are quite different in quality and longevity:
- RP17 - up to 19mm gap - self adhesive
- RP5 - up to a 19mm gap - self adhesive
- RP26 - up to 20mm gap - screw fix
The sweep seals attach to the bottom of your door. It is ideal for hard surfaces such as tiles, and prevents unwanted airflow from beneath your door.
Q: How do they work?
A: These sweep seals works by preventing the draughts from coming in under your internal doors with the brush seal, attached by an adhesive strip (RP17 and RP5) to the bottom of your door.
Q: Will a sweep seal affect the operation of my doors?
A: A sweep seal should not prevent your door from its natural function, if you can no longer open or close your door after installation, then it will have been installed incorrectly.
