Control your home ventilation to manage your thermal comfort and energy bills all year round! Draught-proofing the bottom of your doors with the RP1 Door Draught Excluder will help stop the entry of draughts so you can stabilise your indoor temperatures.

How it Works:

The RP1 Door Draught Excluder is a soft, rolling door brush seal that effectively stops draughts from coming under internal doors. Fitted to the back of the door, the RP1 is designed to roll across the floor as the door is opened and closed. This special door draught excluder creates a seal between the floor and the back of the door to securely prevent air movement.

The RP1 is best for draught proofing internal doors that open over a carpet or where there is a rising floor level. RP1 rides in two slotted hooks allowing it to move up and down as the floor level changes across the sweep of the door.

Frequently Asked Questions:

Q: What is it?
A: The RP1 Door Draught Excluder is a soft, rolling door seal that is ideal for internal doors that open over carpet.

Q: What kind of doors is the RP1 suitable for?
A: The RP1 is only suitable for hinged doors. It is best suited to internal hinged doors for the purpose of zoning.

Q: What does it do and how does it work?
A: RP1 Door Draught excluder effectively stops draughts from coming under internal doors by being fitted to the back of the door and is designed to roll across the floor as the door is opened and closed. In effect it is a rolling door snake.

Q: How do I install it and how hard is it to install?
A: There is an instructional video featured under the “Install” tab in the description. Please watch and follow this video that will walk you through how to install the RP1 Door Draught Excluder, by installing two hooks to the bottom of your door that the excluder is attached to.

Q: What tools will I need?
A: The minimum tools you need are a pencil and a knife or scissors. The pencil is used to mark where the hooks are to be screwed into the door and the knife or scissors is to simply cut the soft end of the RP1 to length.

It is also helpful to have a drill fitted with a small drill bit (2.5mm) to pre-drill the holes where the hooks are to be screwed in. This makes it easier to screw in the hooks but if you have softwood door then you can get away without pre-drilling.

Q: How do I know it has been installed properly?
A: The RP1 should roll as you operated the door.

Q: Will my door still function as a door?
A: The RP1 should not prevent your door from operating normally. If you can no longer open or close your door after installation, then it may have been installed incorrectly.

Q: What do I do if the product is faulty?
A: The ecoMaster return policy can be found on the website.

Q: Is there a warranty on this product?
