What is ecoGlaze, and why is it a good alternative to double glazing?
ecoGlaze is a secondary glazing system that gives you many of the same benefits as double glazing—better insulation, reduced noise, improved comfort, and lower energy bills—without replacing your windows. It works by adding a clear acrylic panel to the inside of your existing window, creating an insulating air gap that helps keep your home warmer in winter and cooler in summer.

DYO works well if you pay attention to all the details provided (especially the measuring sheet and videos).
One of the windows is on a glass brick ‘window’ in a bathroom. I was concerned about possible condensation between the glass bricks and the acrylic ecoglaze piece- it hasn’t been a problem.

I have now completed 7 windows adding EcoMasters double glazing system. The system is quite economic and within normal handyman skills for static windows. The 3 YouTube videos explaining the DIY phase are priceless- they cover it all!
