        Pro Tips:

        • Ths product is not difficult to install.  It does have a number of steps.
        • Please watch ALL the videos before you start, and again during your installation.
        • This product does NOT seal the draught IN the cavity. It stops draught from entering one side of a sliding door.
        • To totally eliminate draught from a door cavity, the cavity itself must be treated. This usually requires removal of the door.  Join Technical Director, Maurice Beinat, to find out more on treating a cavity sliding door to eliminate draught at the source.
Occasionally the compressive seal can be a bit tricky to fit into the slot, so we have produced a quick video to show you an easier way.

        Delivery

Q: Can I collect my order?
A: Yes, you can. Once your order is ready, we will send you a Ready for Pickup email with full collection details.  Please note: pickup is from Preston, Victoria — not Prestons, NSW.

Q: Why is courier delivery so expensive?
A: Because this is a long product, freight costs are higher than for standard parcel items. We know that is not the most exciting news of the day, and we are always working to keep delivery costs as fair and reasonable as possible.

        Q: Why can’t I choose Australia Post?
A: This product is too long for Australia Post, so it needs to travel with a specialist courier that handles oversized items safely.

Q: When will my order be despatched?
A: Most orders are despatched within 2–3 business days

        Q: Will I get tracking?
A: Yes. Once your order has been booked with the courier, you will receive a tracking number so you can keep an eye on its journey.  Please note: if your order includes multiple items, they may arrive in separate parcels at no extra shipping cost.

Q: When will my order arrive?
A: Your order will be delivered by a specialist courier for oversized goods. This is not an express service, so delivery times can vary depending on your location and the time of year.  Delays are more likely during busy periods such as winter, Christmas and end of financial year.

Q: Will my order be left if no one is home?
A: Yes. Standard courier deliveries are sent as Authority to Leave. That means if no one is home when the courier arrives, your parcel may be left at your address.  If that is not suitable, please contact us when placing your order so we can discuss other options.

Q: What if my order arrives damaged?
        A:
Please open and inspect your order as soon as it arrives. If anything has been damaged in transit, let ecoMaster know immediately.  Damage claims must be lodged within 48 hours of delivery. After that window, we may not be able to submit a claim with the carrier.

Q: What if my order goes missing in transit?
A: If your order seems overdue, we will follow it up with the courier on your behalf. If it cannot be located, we will arrange a replacement.

Q: What if my order is stolen after delivery?
A: If your parcel is stolen after it has been delivered, please report the theft to the police.

Q: How can I reduce freight costs?
A: Oversized freight can be expensive, especially for items over 1.5 metres long. To help keep costs down, you may wish to:

        • Combine all long items into one order
        • Share freight costs with a neighbour
        • Collect your order from Preston, Victoria
        • Use a more central delivery address if you live in a regional or rural area

We know freight costs can be frustrating, especially outside metro areas, and we will always do our best to help you find the most practical option.

        FAQ

Q: I’m not really sure how or where to start?
A: That is no problem at all. We have a series of ecoMasterClasses on just about every topic of energy efficiency. All the information is totally free. Click here to check it out.

Q: What does Cavity Sliding Door Draught Proofing Kit do?
A: Cavity Sliding Door Draught Proofing Kit will help seal one side of your cavity sliding door. In order for the kit to be effective, the door must be closed.

Q: Are Cavity Sliding Door Draught Proofing Kits easy to install?
A: Draught Dodgers for Cavity Sliding Doors are relatively easy to install. There are a number of steps that need to be undertaken in sequence - which is why we provide the 7 video series.

Q: Do I have to use the fitting packer?
A: Yes. It must be used to install the head and the latch side of the kit. The fitting packer has been provided to ensure the moulding is fitted exactly the right distance from the face of the door. Not using the fitting packer guarantees an inferior result.

Q: How do you install Cavity Sliding Doors Draught Proofing Kit?
A: Please watch our video series under the “How To” tab.

Q: Do you have a recommended installer for the Cavity Sliding Kit?
A: A recommended installer is highly location dependent. To find out if we have a recommended installer in your area please contact us here or call 1300 326 627.

Q: What is the Cavity Sliding Doors Draught Proofing Kit made of?
A: If you choose the Raw Timber Cavity Sliding Kit, the mouldings are made from a high quality hardwood timber (Tassie Oak) as well as vinyl for the seals, flexible PVC, and an extremely durable adhesive tape. If you choose the White Cavity Sliding Kit, the mouldings are made from white powder coated aluminium.

        Q: Can I get a sample?
A: Unfortunately, we do not have samples of the Cavity Sliding Door Draught Proofing Kit.

Q: Can I get different coloured seals in the standard kits?
A: Yes, you can. However, there is a custom charge applied to make this change. Simply add your Cavity Sliding Kit to your cart and also add a Custom Charge. Prior to completing your transaction there is a notes section. Please write in this area what colour seals you would like to purchase with your kit.

Q: The mouldings are stuck in the wrong place, now I can’t put the seals in.
A: Unfortunately that is quite problematic. We provide installation videos to ensure a quality result. The mouldings can be removed from the door, but the self adhesive tape will not restick. You can fix the mouldings with nails or brads, make sure to use the fitting packer and watch the installation videos first.

Q: Will the Cavity Sliding Kit help to reduce noise?
A: Although not acoustically tested, our clients have reported significant reduction in noise after installation.

Why is draught proofing my doors and windows so important?

Even small gaps around your doors and windows can let in cold draughts, hot air, noise, and dust—making your home less comfortable and more expensive to heat or cool. Sealing those gaps is one of the easiest ways to improve comfort and lower your energy bills.

Can’t I just go to a hardware store and buy a seal?

You can—but choosing from thousands of confusing options can be a frustrating guessing game. Get it wrong, and the door won’t close, or the seal won’t work. We’ve done the hard work for you with a curated range of high-quality, expert-tested products—so you get it right the first time.

Will sealing just a few doors or windows really make a difference?

Yes! Even fixing just one leaky door or window can noticeably improve the comfort of your home. You don’t have to do everything at once—just start with the worst offenders and build from there.

How do I know which product is right for my home?

That’s where we’ve made things simple. You can use our Find and Fix My Draughts tool to quickly identify the right products for your doors, windows, and gaps. Or explore our handy kits and guides tailored to different home types and draught problems—no guesswork needed!

        Are these products DIY-friendly?

Absolutely. Most of our draught proofing solutions are designed for easy DIY installation, and we back them up with clear instructions and how-to videos. If you'd rather not DIY, contact us and we’re happy to refer you to a trusted draught proofing technician in your area.
