The RP26 Sweep Seal is used as a door bottom seal or draught excluder.  It is highly durable, cost-effective,  and is very easy to install.  The RP26 is a much more durable solution than either the RP5 (normally used for security doors) or RP17 (which is the cheapest in the range of sweep seals).

The RP26 is ideally used for double doors.  If the door is opening inward, then the floor behind the door needs to be flat (not sloping upwards).  To install a sweep seal effectively, you need advanced DIY skills.

How it Works:

The RP26 Draught Excluder is an elegant and super robust door bottom seal. It is a heavy duty sweep seal with concealed screw fixings for the bottom of doors. It can be cut to size during installation. Use this on the inside of inward opening doors, typically the front door.

The rubber wiping seal is used to press up against the inside of the doorstep or to friction-fit downwards onto the outside of the doorstep.

Q: What is a Raven Sweep Seal?
A: There are several Raven sweep seals that are quite different in quality and longevity:

The sweep seals attach to the bottom of your door. It is ideal for hard surfaces such as tiles, and prevents unwanted airflow from beneath your door.

Q: Will a sweep seal affect the operation of my doors?
A: A sweep seal should not prevent your door from its natural function, if you can no longer open or close your door after installation, then it will have been installed incorrectly.
