Delivery
Q: Can I collect my order?
A: Yes, you can. Once your order is ready, we will send you a Ready for Pickup email with full collection details. Please note: pickup is from Preston, Victoria — not Prestons, NSW.
Q: Why is courier delivery so expensive?
A: Because this is a long product, freight costs are higher than for standard parcel items. We know that is not the most exciting news of the day, and we are always working to keep delivery costs as fair and reasonable as possible.
Q: Why can’t I choose Australia Post?
A: This product is too long for Australia Post, so it needs to travel with a specialist courier that handles oversized items safely.
Q: When will my order be despatched?
A: Most orders are despatched within 2–3 business days.
Q: Will I get tracking?
A: Yes. Once your order has been booked with the courier, you will receive a tracking number so you can keep an eye on its journey. Please note: if your order includes multiple items, they may arrive in separate parcels at no extra shipping cost.
Q: When will my order arrive?
A: Your order will be delivered by a specialist courier for oversized goods. This is not an express service, so delivery times can vary depending on your location and the time of year. Delays are more likely during busy periods such as winter, Christmas and end of financial year.
Q: Will my order be left if no one is home?
A: Yes. Standard courier deliveries are sent as Authority to Leave. That means if no one is home when the courier arrives, your parcel may be left at your address. If that is not suitable, please contact us when placing your order so we can discuss other options.
Q: What if my order arrives damaged?
A: Please open and inspect your order as soon as it arrives. If anything has been damaged in transit, let ecoMaster know immediately. Damage claims must be lodged within 48 hours of delivery. After that window, we may not be able to submit a claim with the carrier.
Q: What if my order goes missing in transit?
A: If your order seems overdue, we will follow it up with the courier on your behalf. If it cannot be located, we will arrange a replacement.
Q: What if my order is stolen after delivery?
A: If your parcel is stolen after it has been delivered, please report the theft to the police.
Q: How can I reduce freight costs?
A: Oversized freight can be expensive, especially for items over 1.5 metres long. To help keep costs down, you may wish to:
- Combine all long items into one order
- Share freight costs with a neighbour
- Collect your order from Preston, Victoria
- Use a more central delivery address if you live in a regional or rural area
We know freight costs can be frustrating, especially outside metro areas, and we will always do our best to help you find the most practical option.
FAQ
Q: Will this actually work on my door?
A: This kit is designed for two hinged external doors with gaps up to 10mm on the sides and top, including uneven gaps. The door bottom gap can be up to 16mm. If your door opens and closes normally, this system will work. If you’re unsure, send us a photo — we’ll confirm before you buy.
Q: What if I order the wrong kit?
A: We’re here to help you get it right. If you’re unsure, contact us before ordering.
If you’ve already purchased, get in touch and we’ll help you find the correct solution.
Q: Will my door still open and close properly?
A: Yes. The system is designed to seal gaps while allowing your door to operate smoothly. It will not jam, bind, or make your door hard to close when installed correctly.
If you have difficulty closing your door after installation, can we humbly suggest that you watch the installation videos in the “How to Install” tab.
Q: How long does installation take?
A: Most customers complete installation in a few hours for both doors. Many finish in under an afternoon, and that includes taking the celebratory photos to send to us!
Q: What tools or skill level do I need?
A: No. This is a DIY-friendly kit with step-by-step video instructions. Basic household tools are all that’s required.
Q: How is this better than stick-on door seals?
A: Unlike adhesive foam strips, this system is designed for long-term performance (10+ years). It handles uneven gaps, won’t peel off in heat, and maintains a proper seal over time,m even if the door moves.
Q: Will it work if my door gaps are uneven?
A: Yes. This system is specifically designed to handle uneven gaps - a very common issue in Australian homes.
Q: What exactly am I getting in this kit?
A: This kit contains everything needed to seal two external doors - top, sides and bottom - including the components, fixings and seals.
To help match the joinery of your door jamb and door furniture, there are 3 different colour options:
- Timber / Bronze draught excluder
- White Aluminium / Silver draught excluder
- Black Aluminium / Black draught excluder
Q: My front door is a double door. Is this still the right kit?
A: No, it is not. This kit is suitable for two single hinged doors only. The double doors are best treated with one of our French Door Kits.
Q: My front door is quite wide. Will this kit still work?
A: The width limitation of this kit is the width of the RP3 bottom draught excluder which is 920mm between the jams. If your door is wider than that, then you can still treat it with these components but you will need to buy them individually so that you can option the extra-long 1220mm RP3.
Q: Is it better to fit the Draught Dodgers to the ground first and then fit the RP3 in between?
A: Technically yes, but the problem with this method is that it means that the RP3 actuator must be fitted on the angled face of the Draught Dodgers and that does not work well.
Q: It is possible to combine two different coloured mouldings in the two door kit?
A: For the two-door perimeter seal kit, the Draught Dodgers need to be supplied in the same colour. Unfortunately, we can’t split the kit into one white and one black.
The reason is that the two-door kit is designed with one shared length of moulding for the top of both doors. Because doors are usually taller than they are wide, that top piece is cut to size and used across both doors. This shared piece is part of what allows the two-door kit to be offered at a slightly better price than buying two single-door kits.
If we split the colours, one door would end up with the wrong colour across the top section - which rather defeats the purpose of choosing a matching finish.

Why is draught proofing my doors and windows so important?
Even small gaps around your doors and windows can let in cold draughts, hot air, noise, and dust—making your home less comfortable and more expensive to heat or cool. Sealing those gaps is one of the easiest ways to improve comfort and lower your energy bills.
Can’t I just go to a hardware store and buy a seal?
You can—but choosing from thousands of confusing options can be a frustrating guessing game. Get it wrong, and the door won’t close, or the seal won’t work. We’ve done the hard work for you with a curated range of high-quality, expert-tested products—so you get it right the first time.
Will sealing just a few doors or windows really make a difference?
Yes! Even fixing just one leaky door or window can noticeably improve the comfort of your home. You don’t have to do everything at once—just start with the worst offenders and build from there.
How do I know which product is right for my home?
That’s where we’ve made things simple. You can use our Find and Fix My Draughts tool to quickly identify the right products for your doors, windows, and gaps. Or explore our handy kits and guides tailored to different home types and draught problems—no guesswork needed!
Are these products DIY-friendly?
Absolutely. Most of our draught proofing solutions are designed for easy DIY installation, and we back them up with clear instructions and how-to videos. If you'd rather not DIY, contact us and we’re happy to refer you to a trusted draught proofing technician in your area.
